About Pamela Heath

PamDr. Pamela Heath obtained a BA in psychology from the University of Missouri in Columbia in 1976, and an MD from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 1980. Dr. Heath practiced medicine at a variety of locations, including serving as Chief of Anesthesia in Humana Hospital-Abilene, as Director of Education for the Anesthesia Department and a member of the Surgery Faculty in Orlando Regional Medical Center, on the faculty of Anesthesia at the University of Florida in Miami, and for two years as Chief of Anesthesia at Chinle Hospital on the Navaho Reservation.

Dr. Heath began having spontaneous psychic experiences in the early 1990s. In 1995, she returned to school for a second doctorate degree (Psy.D.), this time in parapsychology from the American School of Professional Psychology and Rosebridge Graduate School of Integrative Psychology in California.

Dr. Heath has 13 years experience investigating hauntings and spontaneous paranormal events, and has appeared on television as both as a parapsychologist and a psychic. She currently lives in the Bay Area of California.

  • B.A. in Psychology (with a minor in Chemistry), Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Missouri at Columbia in 1976.

  • M.D. from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 1980.

  • Certified Master Hypnotherapist from the Institute for Educational Therapy in 1996.

  • Psy.D. in Parapsychology from Rosebridge Graduate School of Integrative Studies and the American Schools of Professional Psychology (now Argosy University) in 1999.

Presented during the Parapsychological Association Convention at Stanford University in August 1999 and published the same year in the Parapsychological Association 42nd Annual Convention Proceedings of Presented Papers.
